 We had an amazing time on Wednesday walking to the Rehua Marae. We were formally welcomed on with a Powhiri and spent time in the Wharekai and Wharenui. What great carvings, patterns and panels we saw inside the Wharenui. A big thank you to Matua Mike and all the fantastic parent helpers who came along and supported us.   We had a very busy Kimihia on Friday. Here our the wonderful medal winners who showed the St Albans School value of Creativity. We also had a special visitor during Kimihia. A fledgling pīwakawaka came to see all the fun we were having before flying off to meet his mum and dad.
