 The children had a fantastic first day of school. We were so impressed with their independence and ability to immerse themselves into their new daily routines.

 We had an amazing time on Wednesday walking to the Rehua Marae. We were formally welcomed on with a Powhiri and spent time in the Wharekai and Wharenui. What great carvings, patterns and panels we saw inside the Wharenui. A big thank you to Matua Mike and all the fantastic parent helpers who came along and supported us. Kimihia medal winners and a special visitor

  We had a very busy Kimihia on Friday. Here our the wonderful medal winners who showed the St Albans School value of Creativity. We also had a special visitor during Kimihia. A fledgling pīwakawaka came to see all the fun we were having before flying off to meet his mum and dad.
