Pīwakawaka 2022

  We had a very busy Kimihia on Friday. Here our the wonderful medal winners who showed the St Albans School value of Creativity. We also had a special visitor during Kimihia. A fledgling pīwakawaka came to see all the fun we were having before flying off to meet his mum and dad.

What a wonderful fun day Friday Assembly ! We welcomed to school some wonderful new children into Pīwakawaka 22. We love having when new children come to join our team! And we also had some certificate winners from P26 and P27 Here our P26 and P27 certificate winners   

 The children had a fantastic first day of school. We were so impressed with their independence and ability to immerse themselves into their new daily routines. 

  Fun Day Friday is such a great time- the children look forward to it all week. Look at some of the wonderful things that we did this week. 👏💙💚💛💜👏

 

 We had an amazing time on Wednesday walking to the Rehua Marae. We were formally welcomed on with a Powhiri and spent time in the Wharekai and Wharenui. What great carvings, patterns and panels we saw inside the Wharenui. A big thank you to Matua Mike and all the fantastic parent helpers who came along and supported us. Without your wonderful support we would not be able to go on these adventures. Thank you
