Haere Mai and Welcome back to Term 3 Whānau!

Our inquiry this term will be ‘Kindness begins with Me’. Under this umbrella we will be looking at how we all contribute to our community and that we make our world around us a happier place by the way we treat people, our environment, animals and things around us. ‘Input equals Output.’

This term our adventures include Wheelie Day, Ferrymead and Art Gallery trips, Poetry competition; Book, Cultural awareness and Te Wiki o te Reo Māori (Māori Language Week), a Court Theatre performance and Grandparent’s Day.

Below is a term calendar with all the events noted. The fairy tale or Aesops’ Tale that we will be studying each week is included in so that the children can bring along any literature that they have.
